The aim of Sanbao is to promote an international art and cultural exchange by providing the opportunity for artists and artisans of the world to travel to China and to create art along side their Chinese counterparts.

This site is dedicated to those who have the desire to visit new lands, experience new cultures and to commit their hands and minds towards the understanding and creation of fine art.

At Gold Coast Potters, Cnr Ashmore Rd & Carrara St, Benowa

DAY ONE: BRUSH MAKING
Lecture of the history of brush making and decoration in terms of Chinese ceramics with a demonstration in the morning. Working with me you will prepare your own brush.

DAY TWO: DECORATING

Brush decoration on pots, everyone can bring few pots decorated with me. I also will make tea bowls, decorated with my hand made brushes.

NCECA International Residency Programs 2010
NCECA announces International Residency opportunities for all NCECA members.  In 2010, NCECA will support three International Residencies.  The first residency program is in Jingdezhen, China at the Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute.
Sanbao StudioCelebrates 10th Anniversary

Celebrations in 2010 will unveil the new Ceramic Art Museum at Sanbao. A major attraction of the Reunion Festival will be an inaugural international exhibition featuring artworks of the resident and visiting artists over the last 10 years. The opening will be a major event of the 6th Jingdezhen International Ceramic Exposition

1st International Ceramics Exhibition and Inaugural Openingof the Sanbao Ceramic Art Museum at Sanbao. October 8-31, 2010

Resident artists, tour members and guests of Sanbao are invited to submit an artwork to Sanbao for the permanent collection.

A complimentary color catalogue will be produced documenting the artworks in the exhibition.
