Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute and China Ceramic Cultural Exchange are proud to offer educational cultural tours of the major ceramics and craft sites in China. V

isits to folk pottery kilns, paper-making studios, weaving and textile villages make the tours unique and memorable.

To celebrate the International Academy of Ceramics General Assembly in Xian, China in September of 2008, we have created special tours to both Tibet and to Northern China, east of Xian. These tours are offered to either end in Xian before or begin in Xian after the conference.

The SUNY Summer Study will offer students the opportunity to visit ancient villages in the ethnically and geographically diverse Yunnan Province. The group will walk the markets using traditional practices, shop for antiques, ceramics, textiles, wood, jewelry and other village crafts.  The focal point will be the 12 day studio experience in Jingdezhen learning a variety of Chinese arts, meeting porcelain masters and seeing some of the thousands of factory studios.

An Ambassador to Jingdezhen program has been created to facilitate groups to co-organize a customized tour.  A selection of tours that Ambassadors have organized are listed under the Ambassador Tour Templates web page.
